Man Utd\s furious transfer plan

Manchester United are reportedly interested in Japhael Leroy.

According to Spanish publication Pizarro, "United are keeping tabs on Lemar as they look to bolster their attack this summer. Lemar could play a similar role to Marcus Rashford. United are considering playing him up front to get the most out of him. However, the player"s price tag is estimated to be around 150 million euros ($211 million)," the report said.

Leão is a 24-year-old Portuguese striker who made his professional debut for Sporting Lisbon. It wasn"t until he joined Lille (France) that he began to make a name for himself on the European stage. In his debut season, he scored eight goals and provided three assists in 24 Ligue 1 games. AC Milan were interested in him, and after just one season, he moved back to Italy.

Leroy made an immediate impact at AC Milan, becoming a key asset in the 2021-22 season, scoring 11 goals and adding eight assists in 34 Serie A appearances. For his efforts, he was named Serie A Player of the Year. He continued his rise last season, scoring 15 goals and adding eight assists in 35 league games.

This season, he"s had to deal with a few injuries, which has reduced his attacking output. So far, he has played 27 Serie A games, scoring six goals and providing eight assists. Despite this, his stock is skyrocketing at the tender age of 24. His performances over the past two seasons are already reflected in his value.

Leroy signed a new contract with AC Milan last summer that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2028. However, United have shown interest. United appointed Eric ten Haag as oncasinosite.net manager last season, and he delivered positive results. They finished third in the Premier League (PL) and qualified for the UEFA Champions League (UCL). They also won the English Football League Cup (EFL Cup), giving United their first trophy in seven years.

However, this season hasn"t lived up to expectations. First, they finished last in the UCL group stage behind Bayern Munich, Copenhagen, and Galatasaray. A third-place finish would have qualified them for the UEFA Europa League, but they missed out on that opportunity by finishing last.

There are still chances to lift the trophy. They are in the semifinals of the English FA Cup. In the league, they"re in sixth place. They need to finish at least in the top five, as the number of teams in the UCL could increase next season. They"re also preparing for a major reinforcement at the end of the season with the support of their new owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Later, Cho Jae-young"s fastball made it 24-15 match point. The final point came via video replay. Lim Dong-hyuk touched the net with his body while landing after a staggered attack. Korean Air requested a video review of the net touch. The review confirmed that the ball was dead before the net touch, so Lim was awarded the point. Korean Air smiled.

Son Heung-min as seen by Postecoglue

Head coach Enze Postecoglou has commented on the availability of Son Heung-min.

Tottenham Hotspur will face Fulham in the ninth round of the 2023-24 Premier League (PL) season at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, on April 24 at 4 p.m. ET. Tottenham currently sits in fourth place in the league with an unbeaten record of six wins and two draws.

During the A-match, Son was called up for two friendlies in South Korea. So far, Son has started all eight rounds of the league, scoring six goals. However, he did not play the full game in most of them. He came on as a substitute in the 25th and 32nd minutes against Liverpool and Luton, respectively.

In the aftermath of his last sports hernia surgery, Son was dealing with a groin injury. During the early stages of his call-up, he was mainly focused on recovery training, which led to concerns about his poor form, but he pushed on. He was rested against Tunisia, but played the full game against Vietnam, scoring a goal and providing an assist.

He was seen suffering from the injury in the middle of the game, but Son was unperturbed. In an interview, he said, "Injuries are an inevitable part of being a soccer player. I thought a lot about whether or not to play today. But I couldn"t allow myself to not play in front of the Korean fans," he said.

When asked about Son Heung-min"s fitness ahead of the upcoming game against Fulham, Postecoglou said: "If he"s still scoring goals, I don"t care about him. He doesn"t need to train, he doesn"t need to do anything. He scored six goals this season and he scored a goal for South Korea on the weekend. He got to where he is because of that, so I wouldn"t change anything," he said.

"I think it"s commendable that he takes the responsibility of representing his country very seriously. There are players who have gone down different paths for fame and fortune and have lost their way. But Son Heung-min still knows what"s important to him. He is taking good care of his body here. He knows his body, and he will continue to play at the highest level," he said, adding that he would not discourage Son from taking on the responsibility of competing.

3 straight with Heinemann, 7 right-handed batters for BOS

Fresh off his first quality start (six innings or less) since returning from the disabled list in his last start, the "Korean Monster" will take the mound in search of his fourth career win and the team"s third straight victory.

Ryu will take the mound for the 2023 Major League Baseball World Series against the Boston Red Sox on Sunday at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It"s a big game for Ryu, and a big game for Toronto.

In Major League Baseball, the top three teams with the best winning percentage in each division, aside from the first-place team in each district, qualify for the postseason as a "wild card," and Toronto is currently at a crossroads in fall baseball. With the end of the regular season fast approaching, every game counts.

The Jays faced off against the Texas Rangers, who are also in the American League wild-card race, from Sept. 13-15. Before the four-game series began, Toronto was in second place in the wild-card race and Texas was in fourth. The two teams were separated by 1.5 games. However, a "sweep" in the four-game series against Texas would put a "red flag" on their postseason hopes.

Toronto seemed to be slipping away from postseason contention when they were brought to their knees by Texas, but lately, all the luck seems to be in Toronto"s favor. That"s because Texas lost two straight to the Cleveland Cavaliers after the four-game series with Toronto, and the Seattle Mariners were swept by the Los Angeles Dodgers. Toronto, on the other hand, is on a two-game winning streak after taking down the Boston Red Sox.

Currently, American League wild card Texas (82 wins, 66 losses, .554 winning percentage) sits in second place, followed by Toronto (82 wins, 67 losses, .550 winning percentage), who are just 0.5 games back. Seattle was the third wild-card spot with 17 games to play, but dropped to fourth after becoming the Dodgers" "sacrificial lamb" for the district title, but they are only one game back of Texas.

Ryu took the mound in the middle of a four-game series against Texas on the 13th, and for the first time since returning from Tommy John surgery, he pitched a quality start (6 innings, 3 earned runs or less). However, he was unable to get any support from his offense and took the loss. And once again, he took the mound under a lot of pressure.

For now, Ryu has been pitching well. In his first post-surgery start, he gave up four runs (four earned) in five innings against the Baltimore Orioles, but he followed that up with a four-inning "no-hitter" in his second start, and has been at his best in his last five games, pitching five innings of two-run ball.

If there"s any disappointment, it"s that after picking up three wins in August, the Red Sox have been unable to find the win column in September, despite pitching well. Still, Boston is currently in last place in the American League East, and with a 2-2 record and a 4.01 ERA in their career head-to-head matchups, this is a chance to snap the losing streak.

Boston may be in last place, but they can"t afford to let their guard down. Adam Duvall is batting .417 against Ryu, including two career home runs, Bobby Dalbec is batting .429, Boston "signature" Rafael Devers is batting .333, and "old teammate" Alex Verdugo is batting .600. That"s why he"ll need the support of his bats this time around.

The Boston lineup that Hyun-Jin Ryu will be facing is as follows: Sedan Rafaela (center field), Rob Lefseider (left field), Justin Turner (designated hitter), Rafael Devers (third base), Adam Duvall (right field), Pablo Reyes (second base), Trevor Story (shortstop), Bobby Dalbec (first base), and Rhys Maguire (catcher). Seven right-handed hitters.

Supporting Ryu will be George Springer (designated hitter), Bo Bissett (shortstop), Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (first base), Davis Schneider (second base), Cavan Biggio (right field), Matt Chapman (third base), Kevin Kiermaier (center field), Dalton Bashaw (left field), and Tyler Heinemann (catcher). Ryu will be paired with Heinemann for the third straight game.
