Man Utd\s furious transfer plan

Manchester United are reportedly interested in Japhael Leroy.

According to Spanish publication Pizarro, "United are keeping tabs on Lemar as they look to bolster their attack this summer. Lemar could play a similar role to Marcus Rashford. United are considering playing him up front to get the most out of him. However, the player"s price tag is estimated to be around 150 million euros ($211 million)," the report said.

Leão is a 24-year-old Portuguese striker who made his professional debut for Sporting Lisbon. It wasn"t until he joined Lille (France) that he began to make a name for himself on the European stage. In his debut season, he scored eight goals and provided three assists in 24 Ligue 1 games. AC Milan were interested in him, and after just one season, he moved back to Italy.

Leroy made an immediate impact at AC Milan, becoming a key asset in the 2021-22 season, scoring 11 goals and adding eight assists in 34 Serie A appearances. For his efforts, he was named Serie A Player of the Year. He continued his rise last season, scoring 15 goals and adding eight assists in 35 league games.

This season, he"s had to deal with a few injuries, which has reduced his attacking output. So far, he has played 27 Serie A games, scoring six goals and providing eight assists. Despite this, his stock is skyrocketing at the tender age of 24. His performances over the past two seasons are already reflected in his value.

Leroy signed a new contract with AC Milan last summer that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2028. However, United have shown interest. United appointed Eric ten Haag as oncasinosite.net manager last season, and he delivered positive results. They finished third in the Premier League (PL) and qualified for the UEFA Champions League (UCL). They also won the English Football League Cup (EFL Cup), giving United their first trophy in seven years.

However, this season hasn"t lived up to expectations. First, they finished last in the UCL group stage behind Bayern Munich, Copenhagen, and Galatasaray. A third-place finish would have qualified them for the UEFA Europa League, but they missed out on that opportunity by finishing last.

There are still chances to lift the trophy. They are in the semifinals of the English FA Cup. In the league, they"re in sixth place. They need to finish at least in the top five, as the number of teams in the UCL could increase next season. They"re also preparing for a major reinforcement at the end of the season with the support of their new owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
